Program Lead, Early Access Program

Purpose of Function: To design, develop and implement an Early Access Program that allows patients to have access to investigational therapies.

argenx is evaluating our lead candidate, efgartigimod, in multiple serious autoimmune indications and cusatuzumab in hematological malignancies in collaboration with Janssen, along with advancing earlier stage assets within its therapeutic franchises.

What we are looking for

Purpose of Function: To design, develop and implement an Early Access Program that allows patients to have access to investigational therapies.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and implement an Early Access Program for the Neuromuscular and Hematology/Oncology franchise
  • Educate internal stakeholders on the role of the program, and how it fits with the overall company strategy
  • Work collaboratively with regulators, physicians, clinical development, quality, manufacturing legal and compliance to determine parameters of EAP program
  • Engage with Patient Advocacy organizations and communities to best address the needs for investigational therapies
  • Manage and optimize the interdependencies across all functional planning processes including but not limited to Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, Marketing, Thought Leader Liaisons, Case Management, CMC, Distribution, Global Patient Safety, Training, Analytics, Incentive Compensation, Market Research, Regulatory, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, Finance, etc.
  • Assess and monitor each program’s fulfilment of deliverables, timelines, etc.

Education and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of biopharma experience, with preference for Patient Advocacy and Early Access Programs, Compassionate Use or Named Patient Programs
  • Proven expertise in cross-functional collaboration with specific expertise in Regulatory, Quality and Distribution
  • Ability to develop strong professional relationships
  • Science degree preferred
  • Ability to Travel
  • Adaptability
  • Passionate
