argenx announces results of extraordinary shareholders’ meeting 2017

Breda, the Netherlands / Ghent, Belgium – argenx (Euronext & Nasdaq: ARGX), a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing a deep pipeline of differentiated antibody-based therapies for the treatment of severe autoimmune diseases and cancer, today announced that all resolutions presented at the Company's extraordinary shareholders’ meeting were duly passed at the meeting, which was held today at 09:00 CET.
All proposed resolutions on the agenda for this extraordinary shareholders’ meeting were approved. The results of the votes will be posted shortly on the Company's website and are summarized below:
- update of the remuneration policy taking into account the further development and evolution of the Company
- renewal of the authorization of the board of directors to issue shares up to a maximum of 20% of the outstanding share capital, with the authority to limit or exclude pre-emptive rights regarding an issuance of new shares.
